Privacy Policy

Current status: no analytics or advertising tags are enabled on this site yet. Google Analytics 4 ([GA4 ID]) and Google Ads conversion tracking ([AW-ID]) may be added later and will only run according to your cookie choices.

Data we collect

• Newsletter: your email address and the time you consented, stored in our database.
• Contact form: your name, email and message, stored so we can respond.
• Technical data: standard server logs such as IP address and browser type, used for security and rate limiting.
• Session attribution: campaign parameters from the address you arrived on are kept in your browser's session storage and added to outbound product links so partners can attribute a referral. This clears when you close the tab.

Cookies and Google Consent Mode v2

By default only necessary storage is used. Analytics and advertising storage are set to "denied" until you choose otherwise. If tags are configured, Google Consent Mode v2 signals (analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization) reflect your choice. You can change it any time via Cookie Settings in the footer.

Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads

If enabled with your consent, GA4 measures aggregate site usage and Google Ads conversion tracking measures whether ad visits lead to actions. Google's use of data is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Affiliate cookies

When you follow a product link to a seller, that seller or its affiliate network may set its own cookies, governed by its own privacy policy.

Data retention

Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Contact messages are kept for up to 24 months. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security.

Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EEA or UK you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing, and complain to your data protection authority.

California rights (CCPA/CPRA): Do Not Sell or Share

We do not sell personal information. If advertising cookies are enabled, sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising may occur only with your consent. To opt out, choose "Reject all" in Cookie Settings or email contact@activatethedeal.com with the subject "Do Not Sell or Share". We honor Global Privacy Control signals where technically supported.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed to children under 13 (or 16 in the EEA), and we do not knowingly collect their data.
